Realme P4 5G – All You Need to Know
Realme has launched P4 on 20 August 2025, and on paper, the device seems solid for the bucks you will spend to buy it. We are all aware this year is going great for Realme, be it the GT series or number series, and now the P series seems promising as well.
The device has many things to offer at a lower price – be it a good processor, better display, or huge battery.
The phone has a 6.77-inch (1080×2392 pixels) FHD+ HyperGlow AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It has 4500 nits peak brightness, so outdoor visibility should not be an issue at all.
P4 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor and a custom dedicated Hyper Vision AI Chip for better graphics and speed. The chip is capable of hosting hot titles at 1080P resolution and 144 FPS ultra-high frame rate. On the storage side, the phone has 8GB+256GB as the highest option, with RAM being LPDDR4X and storage being UFS 3.1.
The phone has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. Well, the camera isn’t the main highlight of the device anyway, so we are not expecting too much from them here. Still, it has all the AI features from Realme to make them good to go for the price at least.
P4 has a massive 7000 mAh battery paired with an 80W charger. The phone supports bypass charging and reverse charging as well, so on the charging speed and full-day support side we are already sorted – at least I think so. Doesn’t matter if you do hardcore gaming or multitasking; 7000 mAh is still huge, and the fast charger is there for easy top-up, so no need to worry. The only concern one can have about this is how much Realme has optimized its UI to not feed the whole battery itself.
Despite packing a larger battery, Realme has managed to make the phone 185g – it’s lighter than many smartphones in this segment.
Realme has packed AI features like AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, AI Always On HDR, AI Travel Snap, AI Edit Genie (limited use daily), AI Text Scanner, AI Recording Summary, AI Smart Loop, Circle to Search, and AI Gaming Coach.

📝 Verdict
The Realme P4 5G delivers an impressive mix of performance, display brilliance, and battery endurance in a lightweight package. A 7000mAh battery inside just 185g makes it stand out as one of the lightest big-battery phones of 2025. While it falls short on cameras and software, the 144Hz AMOLED display and Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip make it a very strong contender in the sub ₹20K category.
