Best Samsung Phone under 25000 : Samsung Galaxy A55 5G

A full year has passed since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A55, but why is it still relevant to this date? Let’s find out…

Launched at the price of 39999 for the base variant 8/128GB this device was a big no for any kind of smartphone user then what changed now well its the price that play the big game while considering a phone, samsung has reduced a55’s price to 25000, making it one of the best samsung device to buy if you budget is around 25k inr.

What’s your biggest concern when you try to get a discounted phone in a sale that has been around for a year? It would be software updates, right…?  But galaxy a55 will cover your this concerns with ease because samsung has promised 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates and the phone was launched with Android 14, One UI 6.1 which means you will get Android 18 / One UI 10 and Security updates until 2029 sorted till 2028 easily what else you except in a 25k phone.

Phone comes with 6.6 inch Super AMOLED FHD+ (2340 x 1080) display, it has 120 Hz refresh rate so scrolling through apps, reels or shorts will be super smooth for sure, the display is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back making it durable for longer run, when its comes to samsung’s display you wouldnot disappoint with its color production and brightness at all.

On the performance side it has Samsung Exynos 1480 chipset built on a 4nm process, its not your go to heavy tasks or gaming chipset but i would not disappoint you on every day task, it can handle games like Genshin empact(Medium at 40/45fps), cod mobile, pubg mobile(Smooth + Extreme at 60fps) or asphalt 9 without any major heating or frame drop issue at all.

A55 offers a triple rear camera setup, a 50MP main camera with OIS, capable of capturing detailed shots. Alongside, there’s a 12MP ultrawide camera, perfect for expansive landscapes or group photos, and a 5MP macro lens for detailed close-ups. For selfies, the front features a 32MP camera. The phone also offers Nightography for improved low-light photos and Super HDR Video for vibrant, clear videos, even in challenging lighting. The OIS and Video Digital Image Stabilization features work together to provide smooth and steady video recording.

Phone has 5000 mAh battery and support 25W charging good for basic user in my opinion, the bad part is that we have to get that 25w charger by ourself as sumsung is busy saving nature as of now ( good for futur generation), on normal use phone will give you 6-7 hours of screen on time and if you go deeper and turn on / off some battery have setting then it can increase for 1 or 2 hours too, remember it will be different for each and every user depending on what they do on there phone.

Now, come to the last and most important part of why I love Samsung smartphones:

The Galaxy A55 came with One UI 6.1 out of the box, and Samsung has now rolled out the One UI 7 update for it. This latest version brings a cleaner look, smoother animations, and a few handy tweaks. Notifications and quick settings are now separated, making everyday use simpler. AI features like call summaries and Circle to Search add genuinely useful tools. Samsung has also packed in more customization options and improved security. The new Now Bar on the lock screen keeps music controls and live updates within easy reach. You also get Good Lock for deep customization and Secure Folder for keeping private files safe. And my personal favorite – Samsung Wallet. It’s just so convenient to have all your cards, passes, and IDs in one place, ready for quick tap and go payments or check-ins. Once you get used to it, you can’t imagine going back.

Overall, One UI 7 makes the A55 feel more polished, more personal, and more powerful. If you want to experience what premium UI feels like, you can get a Samsung phone at a discounted price.

A55 is no doubt the best Samsung phone to buy around 25k now, but if you are a tech-heavy guy who needs more raw power, and bigger battery, and faster charging, then you can easily find alternate devices in this price segment from other manufacturers.

Things to Note:

A35 is also available for 20k, so you should check that also if it ticks your Samsung device priority within budget.

Remember the A55 is faster, has a superior build, better cameras (especially for selfies and ultra-wide), extra RAM and memory speed, and an HDR display. The A35 is less expensive and still very competent. If you want a premium feel and the best performance in Samsung’s mid-range, go A55. If you care mostly about price and don’t demand top-tier extras, go A35.
