G86 POWER A FLAT DISPLAY PHONE FROM MOTOROLA

So, Motorola has finally listened to its users and launched the Moto G86 Power with a flat display and a big battery. If your main complaint with Motorola phones was the curved screen or weak battery, that’s now sorted. But if you’re also like me and wanted a lag-free camera and longer Android updates, then you’ll have to wait a little longer.

This new phone is now out on Flipkart and Motorola’s official website. The standout feature is its massive 6720 mAh battery, though it only supports 33W Turbo charging. The second big thing is that they’ve finally added a flat 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

When it comes to design, Motorola still leads the budget phone category by a good margin. Their color choices are on point this time too you get three stunning colors: Pantone Spellbound, Pantone Cosmic Sky, and Pantone Golden Cypress. Out of these, the last one’s my favorite.

Talking about software, Motorola’s user interface has always been solid, whether you’re using a budget or flagship device. No complaints there. But yes, they still need to improve the camera performance, especially when you compare it with other brand’s phones in the same price range.

But here one more thing is happening within motorola team which define the slogan well “Moto fighting Moto” that’s because the Moto G96 is also available on Flipkart for the same price of 17,999. It’s not a mistake but a smart move by Motorola. Both phones offer something different flat vs curved display, MediaTek vs Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, regular vs long battery life so users get to choose what matters most to them.

Final Verdict

Why to Get One

Flat display from Moto, huge battery, IP68/IP69, Cool color options, Bright display, Dolby atmos, Hi res audio

Why not

Only 128GB storage option, 33W charger, vegan leather back prone to wear, 1 year OS update only, Moto known for Camera lag

Bottom Lines (What I prefer) – if you’re looking for a clean Android phone, don’t mind going with Motorola, and prefer a flat screen over a curved one, this is a solid pick. If storage or camera quality isn’t your top priority, then at around 17 thousand, it’s a pretty good deal with that flat display and big battery.
