Realme P4 Pro 5G: Full Specifications & Overview
Realme has launched P4 Pro on 20 August 2025, and on paper, the device seems solid for the bucks you will spend to buy it. We are all aware this year is going great for Realme, be it the GT series or number series, and now the P series seems promising as well.
The device has many things to offer at a reasonable price – be it a good processor, better display, or huge battery.
The phone has a 6.8-inch (2800×1280 pixels) 1.5K HyperGlow 4D Curve+ AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It has 6500 nits peak brightness, so outdoor visibility should not be an issue at all.
P4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and a custom dedicated Hyper Vision AI Chip for better graphics and speed. The chip is capable of hosting hot titles at 1080P resolution and 144 FPS ultra-high frame rate. On the storage side, the phone has 12GB+512GB (Currently not showing on flipkart or realme website though) as the highest option, with RAM being LPDDR4X and storage being UFS 3.1.
The phone comes with a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP selfie camera. For a phone priced around ₹25K, this setup feels a bit underwhelming particularly the 8MP ultrawide, which drags the overall camera system down. At this price point, we usually expect at least a higher-resolution ultrawide (12MP or 16MP) and in some cases a third useful lens (like a 2x/3x telephoto or a decent macro).
Still, Realme has loaded the camera app with plenty of AI features and modes (Night, Hi-Res, Cinematic, Dual-Video), so while the hardware may not impress power users, casual photographers will find it decent.
P4 Pro has a massive 7000 mAh battery paired with an 80W charger. The phone supports bypass charging and reverse charging as well, so on the charging speed and full-day support side we are already sorted – at least I think so. Doesn’t matter if you do hardcore gaming or multitasking; 7000 mAh is still huge, and the fast charger is there for easy top-up, so no need to worry. The only concern one can have about this is how much Realme has optimized its UI to not feed the whole battery itself.
Despite packing a larger battery, Realme has managed to make the phone 189g – it’s lighter than many smartphones in this segment.
Realme has packed AI features like AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, AI Always On HDR, AI Travel Snap, AI Edit Genie (limited use daily), AI Text Scanner, AI Recording Summary, AI Smart Loop, Circle to Search, and AI Gaming Coach.

👍 Why to Buy
- Slim & light despite huge 7000mAh battery
- 144Hz AMOLED with 6500 nits peak brightness
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with advanced GPU features
- Dual stereo speakers
- Buy with bank offers only
👎 Why Not
- Buy only with bank offers – without them, the deal isn’t that great
- Realme has a poor record with software updates (personal note: I’ve used Realme 1, 3 Pro, 6, GT Me, GT 6t, GT 6, Narzo 70 Pro)
- Cameras aren’t great on paper
- Realme UI still needs a lot of improvement
📝 Verdict
The Realme P4 Pro 5G delivers an impressive mix of performance, display brilliance, and battery endurance in a lightweight package. A 7000mAh battery inside just 189g makes it stand out as one of the lightest big-battery phones of 2025. While it falls short on cameras and software, the 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip make it a very strong contender in the sub ₹21K category.
