Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Launched with Ultra Level Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has just launched, but here’s the real question: is it worth the price tag? Let’s find out…

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes with 6.7 inch (1080 x 2340) FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate so scrolling through apps, reels or shorts will be super smooth for sure, when its comes to samsung’s display you would not disappoint with its color production and brightness at all, the display is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back making it durable for longer run, paired with an aluminum frame for a premium in-hand feel. It’s rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, so it can easily survive splashes or the occasional drop in water.(does not mean you actually try it – company warranty nhi degi bhai aapke experiment k liye)

On the performance side, the Galaxy S25 FE is powered by the Samsung Exynos 2400(Save your hate toward Exynos until the end), a 4nm chipset with a 10-core CPU and the AMD RDNA3-based Xclipse 940 GPU. This is a major leap for Exynos, putting it firmly in the flagship league. Every day tasks feel effortless, and it’s more than capable of handling demanding workloads like video editing or heavy multitasking, and my favorite BGMI.

In the bigger picture, the Exynos 2400 sits just below Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but it’s competitive with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 and 9300+. MediaTek’s flagship still pulls slightly ahead in raw performance and efficiency, while Snapdragon remains the overall king. Exynos 2400 positions itself right in between – offering near-flagship power without being the absolute fastest. ( I don’t have or see any issue with it if the phone was priced around 40K INR – Jo abhi to Hoga Nhi )

Galaxy S25 FE offers a triple rear camera setup, a 50MP main Wide camera with OIS, capable of capturing detailed shots. Alongside, there’s a 12MP ultrawide camera, perfect for expansive landscapes or group photos, and an 8MP Telephoto lens. For selfies, the front features a 12MP camera.

Note – Samsung’s FE cameras might seem the same on paper, but the real magic happens behind the scenes with improved software and AI. Think of it like this: your older FE took a perfectly good picture, but the newer ones are smarter about it. They better manage tricky lighting, reduce blurry edges on your ultrawide shots, and clean up distracting background noise in your videos. It’s a series of little adjustments that add up to a much more polished photo and video, so you don’t have to be a pro to get a great-looking shot.

Phone has a 4900 mAh battery and supports 45W charging, good for the majority of users in my opinion(unless you have already experienced that god like combo of 7000 mAh battery with 120 Fast chargers ), the bad part is that we have to get that 45W charger by ourselves as Samsung is busy saving nature as of now ( good for future generation).

The Galaxy S25 FE came with One UI 8.0. Samsung’s One UI has always been known for its clean design, smooth performance, and deep customization options – and with One UI 8 (Android 16), it gets even better. You get smarter multitasking, a revamped Quick Share, and upgrades to Reminders, My Files, and Weather. The lock screen clock now shifts to match your wallpaper, Secure Folder adds hidden apps with fingerprint login, and accessibility features like zoom and hearing aid pairing make it more inclusive. Add Auracast audio sharing, live call captions, and Galaxy AI tools such as Generative Edit and Gemini Live, and One UI 8 becomes Samsung’s smartest and most personal software yet.

With 7 generations of Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates, the Galaxy S25 FE ensures reliable, optimized performance that lasts well into the future – a major advantage over most competitors in this segment.

The Galaxy S25 FE starts at ₹59999 for 8GB/128GB (UFS 3.1), goes up to ₹65999 for 8GB/256GB (UFS 4.0), and tops out at ₹77999 for the 8GB/512GB (UFS 4.0) model. That’s an unreasonable price tag for a “Fan Edition,” making it feel overpriced compared to rivals. The S25 FE is no doubt a solid phone, but if you’re a tech-heavy user seeking more raw power, a bigger battery, or faster charging, there are several alternate devices in this price segment from other manufacturers that may offer better value. Ideally, the base model should be priced around ₹35,000 to match what it actually offers and make it a true Fan Edition deal

👍 Why to Buy

  • Slim and lightweight design with an Armor Aluminum frame (among FE series only)
  • Exynos 2400 + Xclipse 940 GPU delivers near-flagship performance (slightly better than 24 fe)
  • One UI 8 with Galaxy AI makes daily tasks smarter and more intuitive
  • 7 generations of OS updates and 7 years of security updates

👎 Why Not

  • First, you all don’t need to buy it at its launch price at all, wait for 6-8 months to get it at a dropped price ( pretty sure it will be available under 35000 within 6 to 8 months)
  • Expensive for a “Fan Edition” device – base price ₹59999
  • Lacks some flagship perks like a larger battery or ultra-fast charging compared to competitors
  • 8GB RAM might feel limiting for heavy multitaskers or power users
  • At the time when it gets around its true price, Samsung Galaxy S25 will get a price cut, which will be available to get slightly above the price of S25 FE, so why will one get FE instead of the actual flagship phone
  • If you want to buy now, just get the Samsung Galaxy S24 for around 40-45k

📝 Verdict

Samsung has priced the S25 FE at ₹59999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. And honestly, that feels way higher than what this phone actually deserves. Sure, it brings a solid design, a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, smooth performance with Exynos 2400, versatile triple cameras, a 4900mAh battery with 45W charging, and the peace of mind of 7 years of Android OS upgrades plus 7 years of security updates. That’s impressive. But when you compare it to other phones in that range, the S25 FE looks highly overpriced. Many competitors offer better processors, faster charging, and more premium hardware for the same or even less. So while the Galaxy S25 FE is future-proof in terms of updates, its launch price makes it hard to recommend.
