Vivo T4 Pro 5G – Full Specifications, Price in India

Last year, Vivo launched the T3 Pro. Now, its successor, the Vivo T4 Pro, has arrived. It’s a phone that tries to polish a few rough edges, but honestly, most of the same compromises are still hanging around.

This one packs the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. On paper, that sounds decent, but you already know where Vivo cuts corners. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel (at this price point, 1.5K displays are common, but Vivo is still stuck with FHD+).

On the battery side, it has been upgraded to 6500 mAh, compared to the T3 Pro’s 5500 mAh, and charging has also been bumped to 90W fast charging. At least here, Vivo did something right.

The main highlight is the camera setup. It packs a triple rear camera system – a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP Periscope, and a 2MP Bokeh Camera. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter.

But here’s the joke – just like before, the phone ships with UFS 2.2 storage. For something priced above 25K, at least UFS 3.1 should be there. Even the RAM type is LPDDR4X, while sub-25K phones are already shipping with LPDDR5X. What the hell was Vivo thinking?

At the end of the day, this is an offline-focused phone that Vivo will push hard with the camera branding. And yeah, it will sell because of that, no matter what.

Final Verdict

Why get one:

  • I don’t know, actually, if your main priority is cameras that have dual Sony IMX882 sensors with periscope telephoto, then maybe it’s for you

  • Buy with the above priority, that too with 3k off, only not on the launch price, please

Why not:

  • UFS 2.2

  • LPDDR4X

  • Base Model 8/128GB for 28k nice Vivo

  • FHD+ display

  • No Ultrawide

Bottom Lines (What I prefer) – it comes with UFS 2.2, LPDDR4.X RAM, FHD+ Display, Plastic Back, so Vivo T4 Pro is a phone that I don’t want to recommend to anyone at all, all they have to offer is camera features with dual Sony sensors, and that is not enough for the price it has launched. If it comes under 18k, then do consider it for what it offers, but above that price, I don’t think it’s a good phone at all
