Vivo V60: ZEISS Triple Cameras but what else it has to offer

Just 6 months ago, we witnessed the launch of Vivo’s V50. Now, Vivo has again launched its successor, the Vivo V60, a camera-centric phone which actually has great camera specs as of now. The phone has launched with Vivo’s signature ZEISS cameras.

It is coming with the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Being a camera-centric phone, it’s pretty good for the price. On the display side, the phone has a Slim Quad Curved 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display (at this price point 1.5K displays are common nowadays). On the battery side, it has been upgraded to 6500 mAh from the V50’s 6000 mAh battery, and this time, a 90W fast charger has powered it.

The phone’s main highlights are its triple rear cameras a 50 MP (Sony IMX766 – 5 years and vivo still don’t want to move on from this 😂) OIS main camera, 50 MP super telephoto, and 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera all with ZEISS integration. On the selfie side, it has a 50 MP camera with ZEISS integration.

The cameras have all of Vivo’s portrait modes on the desk, such as Telephoto, Landscape Portrait, Street Portrait, Classic Portrait, Portrait, and Close-up. It also comes with Vivo X Wedding vLog presets to make some Insta wedding vlogs without any editing hassle at all. The phone also features Wedding Portrait presets and comes with AI Four Season Portraits presets as well.

V60 is all about cameras, but the only thing it lacks is speed. The phone has UFS 2.2 storage for a phone that costs 30k plus, it should at least have UFS 3.1 or above. It still has 8/128GB for the base model, which is priced at 37k. RAM type is also LPDDR4X, while you can easily find LPDDR5X around 25k phones. I don’t know what Vivo was thinking about here.

After all, it’s an offline market phone which will be sold on the name of cameras. So, it will definitely do good no matter what other features it has to offer you.

Final Verdict

Why get one:
• I don’t know actually, if your main priority is cameras that have hundreds of filters for everything, then maybe it’s for you

Why not:
• UFS 2.2
• LPDDR4X
• Base Model 8/128GB for 37k nice Vivo
• FHD+ display

Bottom Lines (What I prefer) – it comes with UFS 2.2, LPDDR4.X RAM, FHD+ Display, Plastic Back so Vivo V60 is a phone that I don’t want to recommend to anyone at all, all they have to offer is camera filters, and that is not enough for the price it has launched.
